My apologies if this is completely in the wrong section, we don't really have a general coding discussion area.

I'm writing some articles for my Mysidia Adoptables blog and I'm wondering who everyone is hosted with, or has been hosted with (paid or free) and if you could provide a bit of information about how it went for you.

The information I need is this;

- Name and url.
- How much does your web host cost?
- What limits are there, and how are they in comparison to your hosting of the script?
- Have you had any issues?
- Info about your domain - free subdomain, free domain, separate domain?
- Anything else you'd like to include.

I am looking for both positive and negative reviews. :3

NOTE: On a semi-unrelated note, I am also looking for people be to interviewed about their experiences making virtual pet websites. (With Mysidia or otherwise).

Well, I use x10 web hosting and the most frustrating thing was learning that now they send you your username via email and there's no other way (that I've found) to find out your username. (I have it, I just spent a good hour searching on their site until I checked my email.)
My url is in my signature and until I get the first version up and running smoothly, I am using the free option. I think their rates start at 3.95 a month.
Hope this helps.

I had a completely unrelated site that I tried to start with 000webhost. They terminated my account because of the lack of visitors:
To save server resources and provide everyone with free web hosting we regularly remove inactive accounts. Account considered inactive if no website is uploaded or it did not received more than 10 visitors in 30 days. Website also should not contain text like `under construction` or similar.
The most frustrating thing about that site was that their site builder published your website if you hit save without even asking you. The only way to avoid this is to hover over the save button (which only has the word save on it, not save and publish) and click Save Draft. But of course this was not explained.

Meh. Maybe I'm just a klutz and shouldn't delve into creating websites! XD This is why I'm seeking a coder to save my website from me.
