Go to your sql databse and to the [prefix]_ads section and manually add the html.
The ad code input replaces html tags with browser friendly character entities. Example: This: <a href='#'><img src='lol.png'/></a> Is changed into this: <a href='#'><img src='lol.png'/></a> Just go to the database and add the html manually into the "text" field.
