No tables in database?
Okay.....
I'm a "little" confused right now. After having problems installing the script before (it seems that the login info for my database was not accepted) I manged to install the script now with a new database. So far so good....everything seems to work just great. My only problem now is that when I access my database to look for my tables there are none?! How can this be? I mean the script runs and I can add users and adoptables without any problems. So the information has to go somewhere but why is it that there aren't any tables displayed in the database? I mainly ask for this to be able to make changes and add modifikations. I worked with Rusnaks script before successfully and learned a lot about mysql and php with it and I would love to use my humble beginner skills to enhance this new great script we have now. But without access to the tables.... Am I just too stupid and missed something? Help anybody? :/ EDIT: ok it becomes even more weird. After adding adoptables Users and adopting new adoptables without problems first the script stop adding any of them now. The previously added are still there but when I try to add more it does not store them. I also get no error message. EDIT2: Ok guys, sorry for bothering. I deleted everything once again and just used one of my older databases and it works! Seems there is something terribly wrong with my hosters server and that it does not really create new databases or limits access to them. So for people facing a similar problem in the future: check if your database updates in general it's not the scripts fault if something like this happens to you. You can also try to use the servers IP instead of localhost - I did this as well to avoid further conflict so I'm not entirely sure that it wasn't just the "localhost" setting. Well do you use cPanel? If so, make sure to check privileges for the database user assigned to your database, or it wont let you add/edit/drop tables/columns.
