Page not Loading....?

Hey everybody, I'm completely new to Mysidia and almost completely new to coding. I downloaded the latest version of the adoptables script and followed the video tutorial posted here, but for some reason, even though I followed all the the steps and didn't get any error messages, when I try to go to the index page of my website, all it gives me is a blank page. Can anyone help me with this?
It's been really frustrating. At first I assumed I'd missed something obvious, but after repeating the process three times I still don't even know what I'm doing wrong.

x10hosting changed something in their configurations recently and sites go blank. Try this fix: http://mysidiaadoptables.com/forum/s...&postcount=202 (_name_here_ is the name in your link, like www._name_here.x10.mx or www._name_here.elementfx.com, etc.)

I just tried it and it's not working... I'm just checking to see if I did this right? My link is http://www.tealeaf.x10host.com/.

It should be this, right:

$this->root = "/home/tealeaf/public_html/";

I had that problem as well, (I know this comment isn't helpful >.<) and I just moved and now it is working fine.. (In case you are interested I use Byethost, it is very similar to x10 but can be quite different XD)
