man, i love that idea of growing things in test tubes. Art is great too!

Alrighty, after playing with the style a lot I've come up with something I rather like. It took me ages on this one base, but I think she's lovely!

I'm leaving the three test-tube phases as-is because I love them, but the next three stages will all be in this style.

Another change; I've decided to go with my original plan of just doing raptors and will focus on variety in designs rather than species. With each of the last three stages there will be alternate male and female bases, each in different poses.

You can see some massive updates made to the first page. Yeah, I know, inconsistent as usual...but I have an actual plot...I'm hoping I convince myself to stick with it. Anyways, I'm working on item art, it'll all be in an 80x80 frame with the background shown (except for special events). Here is an example of a small (Apprentice) potion!

I've made some major breakthroughs!

1. Fusion is Fully Functioning
Once a user has two Arcane Stones fully energized, each of the same type, and one being solar and the other lunar, they can combine the two stones. They select the type of stone they're choosing from in a drop-down list (it only shows stones :D). Then they can choose from any of the stones they have that are the selected type. They select the solar, and the lunar. Once they confirm the action each stone is removed, and they receive the dragon egg!

2. Stone vs Dragon Discrimination
There are specific stats that show for dragons which are absent for stones such as name, personality, and speed/stamina/strength/sense. This is whether you click it to see the profile, or are managing it. I've also made it so that users can only select a dragon to be their familiar, not any stones.

And of course I've been working on more artwork

For dragon artwork so far I just have the egg and hatchling done, I'm taking my time to make sure it turns out how I want it to.
