Other ways of growing?

You receive lvls from getting clicks, but is there a mod/feature that allows your pets to grow other ways too? Like using special items, just growing over time, ect? I would very much like this added if it isn't already. Sorry if it's kind of obviously there in the website or something and I didn't see it, because I can't really get onto my adoptable thing atm. Having MySQL issues I'm trying to fix for starting up :3

The possibility of such other ways of growing are possible and in use on a few sites. However there is no public mod available for this right now.
